DVM graduates are invited to participate in the University Commencement in Lane Stadium on Friday, May 16.  This is not a requirement, but you are welcome to attend. The University ceremony is from 8:30 a.m. -11 a.m. and regalia is required. Please plan to arrive before 8 a.m. Please note that campus will be very, very busy that day. DVM graduates will have reserved seating but no late entry will be allowed. Tickets are not required for this University ceremony.

When you pick up your regalia, we will ask if  you plan to attend this ceremony. If so, we will give your regalia, including your hood, to use for this ceremony and pictures.

Please note:

Hoods are due back to Academic Affairs by noon on May 16, so that we can ready them for your DVM ceremony that evening.  We will definitely have a check sheet to ensure we get them back. This is very important, as we need to ensure that we have enough Hoods for the DVM ceremony. We will also provide you with a palpation glove for the University ceremony as is tradition for our DVM graduates to wave them during this event.
