Bio

Hey ya'll! My name is Grace Gaynor and I'm from Montgomery County, Maryland. My veterinary interests include emergency medicine, and I plan to track mixed animal (but wait five seconds and I'll probably change my mind!). In my spare time, I enjoy teaching group fitness, horse-back riding, and playing intramural flag football (and yes I really do have time for all that!). I'll be the honest one and say I chose VMCVM mostly because of the reasonably priced tuition, but also because the Virginia Tech mission "Ut Prosim" which means "That I May Serve" really resonates with me and embodies the veterinarian I want to become. After becoming a student, I've experienced firsthand how VMCVM truly carries out that mission, by being a community that values service, leadership, compassion and education. I hope you'll reach out to me if you want to chat more about what it's like being a student here, or if you want to debate whether or not pineapple belongs on pizza (it does). Welcome home, I can't wait to meet you all!
