Bio

Hi! My name is Esther Vergel. I am an out-of-state student from Paramus, NJ, which is just outside of NYC. I am an equine tracker with a specific interest in large animal surgery and sports medicine. When looking for veterinary programs, I prioritized schools that would give me a large amount of hands-on experience and emphasized positive learning environments within the school. VMCVM was the perfect fit for what I was looking for! I’m excited to meet you all and answer any questions you may have about our program and/or life as a vet student at VMCVM in-person or over email.
