Bio

Hello! My name is Savannah Windley, and I am currently a first year student from Columbia, Maryland. I am undecided on what I want to track, but I am thinking either Public Corporate or Large Animal. I have many years of experience working with laboratory animals, as well as large animals in 4H, so it makes it hard to decide!

I chose VMCVM because it was close to home and I loved the interactive, hands-on curriculum the school provides. I have greatly benefited from our laboratory classes and being able to access the clinical skills lab whenever I want to freshen up on my practical skills. I also appreciate that first years have many opportunities in their first year to work with live animals, whereas most first years in other schools do not have that opportunity until later in their curriculum.
